Day 2 |

On Day Two, I rented a car from AutoEurope in Sweden and took a 6 hour drive down to Copenhagen, Denmark. The weather was slightly overcast and a little cold. There, I visited The Little Mermaid (Den Lille Havfue). It is definitely Copenhagen's most famous tourist attraction. I had a look at the lovely lady as well. The statue was created by Edward Eriksen in 1913 who was inspired by a fairytale of Hans Christian Andersen. The Little Mermaid is located on a rock at Langelinie, just north east of the city center. At night, I visited Tivoli and had a nice time drinking an espresso, watching wonderful fireworks and seeing the dancing laser/water displays in Tivoli. Then I spent the night at the Hotel Christian IV. |
